UnLost Line: una infrastruttura multitasking per Roma

In order to regenerate big areas of the city, it is not enough to intervene punctually within abandoned areas, but it is essential to operate its interconnection. The interconnection of urban voids can take place through infrastructures, which have always been synonymous with development; new generation infrastructures that contain the expansion of the city and reverse the direction of development, infrastructures that replace an integrated vision to the technical-engineering approach; networks for the qualification and requalification of the territory, for the enhancement of our suburbs. This is what we have proposed with the Urban Green Line and Tevere Cavo projects and this is what we we propose with the project UnLost Territories.

Al fine di rigenerare ampi brani di città non basta intervenire puntualmente all'interno delle aree dismesse o abbandonate, ma è indispensabile operare una interconnessione. L’interconnessione dei vuoti urbani non può che avvenire per mezzo di infrastrutture, da sempre sinonimo di sviluppo, infrastrutture evidentemente di nuova generazione che non promuovono l’espansione della città, ma che ne invertono la direzione dello sviluppo, infrastrutture che a un approccio di tipo tecnico-ingegneristico unidirezionale, sostituiscono una visione integrata, reti insomma della qualificazione e riqualificazione del territorio, linee per la valorizzazione delle nostre periferie. È quanto si è tentato di fare con la proposta Urban Green Line e con il progetto Tevere Cavo, ed è quanto si tenta di fare anche con il progetto urbano UnLost Territories.
